Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation, Inc.

Providing More than Shelter Sheen Housing’s mission is to provide safe, decent, affordable housing for low-income families, seniors, veterans, and persons living with disabilities. We seek to promote the self-worth and dignity of both those we serve and the community at large by offering financial assistance and a wide range of housing services and programs. An alarming number of families are forced to ask themselves impossible questions: do I pay the mortgage or fix the roof; do I buy medicine; get medical treatment; or pay the utility bill; do I put food on the table...? Making decisions between basic necessitates and safe home repairs often seems insurmountable, this is why we are asking for your support. By donating to Sheen Housing, you are helping provide safe and sustainable housing for those most vulnerable. All donations will be used to assist with critical “brick and mortar” repairs to the home (i.e., furnaces, water heaters, roofs, plumbing repairs, septic/well systems, electrical repairs, accessibility modifications, etc.). By making these repairs, individuals and families can remain independent in their homes, and reduce the risk of homelessness, unnecessary medical emergencies, school transience, and so much more. This year alone we touched the lives of over 377 vulnerable households with health and safety home repairs. We could not have done this without your help. Your support and investment in Sheen Housing continually plays a crucial role in our success. Your generosity and partnership will have a long-standing impact that will provide healthy and safe homes for so many. Thank you!
