Advent House

The Advent House is a hospice-care home which provides for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the dying in a loving homelike setting. We affirm the dying person's dignity, encouraging them to participate in determining what would most enhance their quality of life. We embrace the family and friends of the resident with love and support that continues through the grieving process. Staff and volunteers, in conjunction with a certified home health agency and the resident's physician, provide individualized holistic care. Advent House is a two bed home for the dying who have been medically determined to be in the last three months of their lives. Admission is based solely on need regardless of religion, age, sex, race or the ability to pay. There are no fees charged by Advent House.
