Brighton Food Cupboard

Brighton Food Cupboard (BFC) is a program of Jewish Family Service of Rochester (JFS) in cooperation with, The Brighton Central School District, Foodlink and other community organizations and volunteers. Food insecurity goes hand in hand with other issues as many are just a paycheck away from hunger. How the Brighton Food Cupboard Works - A call to the Brighton Food Cupboard connects clients to a case manager who helps them address hunger and food insecurity. Clients call their food needs into the BFC, volunteers fill the order, which is then delivered to the client's home. BFC does more than give food. The case manager also offers clients information and advocacy to help resolved any additional social service needs they may be facing. Contacting the Brighton Food Cupboard - If you need assistance, call the Brighton Food Cupboard at 271-5355 and ask to speak with the Case Manager. Jewish Family Service and the Brighton Food Cupboard embrace the entire community regardless of race, religion or ethnic background.
