Compeer Rochester

Compeer Rochester is a community-based mental health organization that facilitates positive social outlets and mentorship for adults, children, teens, veterans, and families who are experiencing challenges related to mental health. Our volunteer-based programs and formalized peer support services use the power of human connection to enhance the lives of participants and providers alike, giving meaningful opportunities for community members to give back, and providing linkages to other natural and formal supports. Founded in Rochester in the 1970s, the Compeer Program has been replicated nationally and internationally.
