EPIC Zone welcomes all youth ages 12-17 and their families. We are a zone where youth should feel safe to share and express thoughts, feelings, concerns, desires, hopes and dreams. At EPIC Zone they do not walk into a program, they walk into a safe space where we can get to know them and they get to know us. We function as a drop-in; members can come every day, once a week, or once a month.
Our priority is to build relationships with our members at their pace and embrace all situations. Our intentions are to help youth process through their needs and desires; to help them identify barriers and frustrations and to problem-solve. We hope to enhance skills and successes of all members of our community. This is done through everyday interactions. We look at the 40 developmental assets for youth and how we can build on those.
EPIC Zone is grant funded with The Partnership for Ontario County as the fiduciary agent. We have been in existence since June of 2016. We currently are located at 21 Worthington Avenue in Geneva. We also regularly collaborate with other agencies and community members to provide a variety of opportunities and information.
