Genesee Valley Orchestra and Chorus

Genesee Valley Orchestra and Chorus is a non-profit community chorus and orchestra, with a commitment to enriching the lives of the people in the Rochester area. We perform classical and popular concerts, do "sing-a-longs" at senior living centers and participate in the Fairport Gazebo and Perinton Center Stage concert series. Our audiences come from all over Monroe County. GVOC is unique in the area as it is the only group that has an all-volunteer resident chorus and orchestra. Since its inception, GVOC has maintained fiscal solvency and stability. This is a rarity for a community performing arts group, especially one operating without substantial taxpayer support. GVOC's membership and leadership are very actively committed to the viability of the organization, not only for the present but for the future. We approach you to support our programs that contribute to the excellent quality of life we have in the Greater Rochester area. The arts are an important factor to businesses considering relocating or building here. Creative and cultural organizations make a community more attractive to prospective residents.
