NY Bee Wellness

We are an educational not-for-profit 501c3, non-membership organization whose mission is to educate new, beginning, and small scale beekeepers, and others interested in honeybees and beekeeping, in honey bee disease recognition, and to provide services and information for beekeepers and the general public on maintaining healthy honey bee colonies in New York and the surrounding region. 2015 winner of the Vita Bee Initiative Award for education and outreach, from the UK company Vita Europe. We conduct intensive, skills oriented workshops, including train the trainer programs, provide educational printed material, survey beekeepers for disease incidence and bee survival, maintain an educational website, write a quarterly newsletter, and provide information to the general public at fairs and conferences.
