Perinton Ambulance

Perinton Ambulance is a critical health resource for the residents, visitors, and workers who make up this great community. In addition to the response, treatment, and transport of the sick and injured, we also act as a health and wellness education resource. Our other programs include: • Immediate responder training in CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed to nearly 1,000 people annually • Blood pressure screenings at senior living facilities and the Community Center • Public education lectures and seminars for local businesses, churches, and community organizations • Child passenger safety seat inspections • Bicycle safety events • Explorer Post 547 to educate high school students interested in a career in EMS • Community loan closet with canes, crutches, walkers, and wheelchairs All of these services are funded through billing for service, a small tax subsidy (comprising less than 10% of our budget), and the generosity of our growing community of supporters. Your generosity through #ROCtheDay on this #GivingTuesday will make an immediate impact on our operation. Funds raised through donations may be used to offset the purchase of medical supplies, replace training equipment, or offset the cost of replacing ambulances.
