Phelps Community Center

The mission of Phelps Community Center is to create and develop a self-supporting center for family-oriented and multi-generational programs and activities to improve the quality of life in the Community. In addition, blend municipal and income-producing tenants into the location in order to enhance the community center in ways that support our local community. PCC, on 8 Banta Street is centrally located in the Village of Phelps. Businesses within the facility include: The Phelps Community Library, Village Offices, Police Department, Sheriff's Substation, Building Inspector, Phelps Dance Academy, Upstate Taekwondo, Ontario ARC, Phelps Community Food Cupboard, Boy and Girl Scouts, 4H, and Auburn Medical Transport. The facility is open for the use of Village and Town of Phelps residents and residents of the Midlakes School District, as well as the general public. Areas available for use by the community include: Gymnasium Game Room Computer Lab Meeting Rooms School Age Child Care Program Childcare is available in the morning and after school as well as summer and school recess days. Before and after school age and program is available for school age children through 12 years old. Early Learning Center Childcare is provided to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We also offer a Kindergarten Readiness Program as well. After School Teen Program A program for youth ages 11-18 from 2:30-5:30pm after school. Thus program is sponsored by United Way and is Free. Fitness Center is open 24/7. Fitness Center The fitness center offers equipment from cardio to weight training. We offer a variety of membership options. Special rates are available for Seniors and residents of the Midlakes School District. We offer Silver and fit and Silver Sneakers. Memberships start as low as $15 per month. Classes are held weekly in Indoor Cycling, Kettleball, PIYO, ReFit and Senior Strength and Cardio. Classes are $3.00 to $7.00 per class.
