Rise Up Rochester, Incorporated is a 501c3 nonprofit that empowers the community to establish and maintain a nonviolent culture and provides support to crime victims and their families. Since 2008 countless families that have had their lives turned upside down by homicide have received needed support through Rise Up Rochester programs like its support group and its annual service of remembrance. Hundreds of classrooms have learned how to prevent violence in their neighborhoods from members that speak in classrooms and thousands of students have taken a stand against violence through the Stop the Violence Billboard Contest. Please join our crusade to empower our community to establish and maintain a nonviolent culture!
