Rochester Area Community Foundation

Among the largest of 770 community foundations nationwide, Rochester Area Community Foundation invests in our eight-county region to make it a better and more equitable place to live, work, and play — for everyone. Since its founding in 1972, the Community Foundation has distributed more than $680 million in grants and scholarships. For ROC the Day 2023, all contributions to the Community Foundation will go to the Arts and Culture Fund. This endowed fund, along with funds established by donors passionate about the arts, allows the Foundation to support and enhance nonprofit arts organizations and programs throughout our eight-county region. A recent report commissioned by the Foundation -- "Upstate's Creative Spark: How the Arts is Catalyzing Economic Vitality Across Upstate New York" -- sheds light on the important contributions of the arts to economic development and growth. Dive into details of this report, supported by a grant from the New York Council on the Arts, at www.racf.org/ArtsReport. Investing with your Community Foundation gives you an important role in creating and sustaining more equitable and vital communities across our region by taking charge of change.
