Rochester Education Foundation

Every child deserves a great education. For the last fifteen years, Rochester Education Foundation has been focused on making a difference in the lives of Rochester students. REF is independent of the City School District and provides city and charter school students resources. Students will be able to count on consistent support from REF - new books for schools and for students to take home, assistance in navigating the college application process through providing workshops and helping with financial aid forms, and access to music and art education resources through providing instruments, music lesson scholarships, and performance opportunities. At the heart of all of our projects is the fundamental idea that students deserve access to a great education. When you support REF you support these opportunities for students to learn, explore, and thrive. Examples of what your donation can fund: » $10 can provide transportation to a student to attend a FAFSA Fest event » $25 can purchase new strings for three guitars » $50 can provide ten students with books » $75 can provide a month of music lessons for a student » $100 can provide a College IQ workshop to students at the Rochester Public Library » $150 can provide a student with a scholarship for summer music lessons
