Rochester Education Foundation

We believe that every student deserves to have new books of their own and to learn from and be inspired by the stories they are reading. They deserve to be swept away by the beauty and excitement of music and arts and be able to play an instrument if they wish. Students should enjoy fun and engaging learning experiences that complement their science curriculum. They should have a strong, supportive, happy community atmosphere at school, and have plenty of reasons to smile. City students deserve to have unlimited pathways to choose from for their future including access to college. Since 2005, REF has been working to fulfill our mission to provide programs and resources to improve learning and success for Rochester city students. When you support REF you support these opportunities for students to learn, explore, and thrive. Examples of what your donation can fund: » $25 can purchase new strings for three guitars » $50 can provide 8 students with books » $100 can provide a College workshop to students at the Rochester Public Library » $150 can provide a student with a scholarship for summer music lessons Any amount can help a student smile, supporting the Smile Program which builds school community and supports learning experiences that complement the science curriculum.
