The Parish of the Holy Family has become united as one family after merging 3 years ago. Though God's goodness we have grown so much over the past several years.
The Parish of the Holy Family offers many opportunities - For adults there Bible Studies, Men's Group and Sisters in Christ all offer outreach to the community, spiritual nourishment and fellowship. For children we offer a Summer Program, Family Enrichment and Children's Liturgy of the Word (On Sundays at 9AM) Jr. and Sr. High School Students meet weekly to grow in faith and fellowship. They also participate in diocesan events and NCYC.
There are retreats for men, women, liturgical ministers, teens and youth. Outreach to the community is achieved in several ways. There is a food cupboard to help those in need in our area. At Thanksgiving families in need are provided with a food basket for their Thanksgiving meal and a Turkey. At Christmas a food basket is provided in addition to gifts to the children in the families. We have a good neighbor fund from the freewill offering we collect at Thanksgiving time that allows us to help exceptional needs of those having a hard time making ends meet. We have a Bereavement Ministry for those who have lost loved ones and helps them on their journey of grief. Communion to the Home-bound and Visitation to the elderly and hospitals.
There are different social events throughout the year where we come together to be with one another and have fun. Annual Summer Mass, Pot-Luck Dinners, Sauce Tasting, Coffee Socials, Yearly Next-to-New Sale, Pizza with Santa, Italian Night, Dinner for Veterans, Christmas Sing-a-Long for Senior Parishioners, Vietnamese New Year.
We pray as we move through our journey we may be an example of Jesus, as His hands, ears and voice. The people God created us to be.
