World Relief Western New York

World Relief Western NY walks alongside refugees in vulnerable situations as they rebuild their lives in the United States. Our primary program is resettlement, providing key services to refugees during the first three months after they arrive. This includes but is not limited to housing, employment, education, language, health and mental health, financial assistance, materials goods, transportation, and community connections. Our programs focus on creating change that lasts by addressing the root causes of poverty, vulnerability, and injustice. We provide newly arrived refugees with access to basic necessities and begin them on the journey to belonging through our expertise, specialized services, and relationships. We continuously innovate our programs to address the needs of newcomers while building on their incredible strengths. Of course, it takes most people far longer than three months to fully adjust to life in a new place, and refugees are no exception. That’s why World Relief specializes in mobilizing local partners like you to welcome, befriend and serve their new neighbors both during and after the initial service period. With your help, we can continue to come alongside refugees and immigrants as they begin their journey on the path to belonging. Thank you for coming alongside refugees and other immigrants as they rebuild their lives in Rochester!
