YMCA Teen Leaders Club is leadership development and community service program that helps teens discover their full potential. It is a safe place where teens can come and simply be themselves.
Leaders Club is a year-round leadership-development program for middle and high school teens. This program provides teens with extensive leadership training and volunteer opportunities that support YMCA programs and services to the community. In addition to teaching teens leadership through service, Leaders Clubs advisors:
• introduce and engage teens in the work the Y does to strengthen community, and
• inspire and prepare teens to become future leaders.
Our goal is to challenge teens to serve the community, and to help them grow in who they are and lead those around them. Leaders Clubs hold weekly meetings, service and social events, as well as trips throughout the year including rallies and a summer trip to Northeast Leaders School.
We focus on: Human Services, Education
Where we are: Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Wayne, Wyoming, Yates
