Drug-Free Irondequoit: Together dba Uplift Irondequoit is a community coalition establishing and strengthening collaboration among many community partners in order to support programs and activities related to prevention, education and reduction of youth substance use. Partner agencies include both East and West School districts, the Town of Irondequoit and its agencies including the Community Center and Library, local civic groups such as Rotary, parents, youth, treatment and recovery agencies, religious organizations and other youth focused organizations. We promote and participate in DEA Drug Take Back Day as well as create media campaigns focusing on youth nicotine vaping, youth cannabis use and youth alcohol use. Working with a variety of agencies within the City of Rochester allows us to also include neighborhoods who share a city zip code with the Town of Irondequoit in 14609 and 14621.
